For 123 years, the Fleisher Art Memorial Annual Adult Student Exhibition has celebrated the vibrant artwork created by Fleisher’s students. The exhibition provides students with the opportunity to show their work in a public gallery, a milestone in any artist’s career. In addition, numerous cash prizes are awarded to students in each of many categories of art making including fiber arts, drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, and photography at the exhibition’s closing reception, Friday, January 21, 2022. I have two acrylic paintings in this show which were created for my Abstract and Intuitive Painting class with Doah Lee in the spring. Shown, “Mixtape”, acrylic on canvas.
